Question f22 swap

hey whats up everyone i have a 97 hatch and i wanna do a swap on it and i've been wondering this for a while if it possible to do an f22b1 accord sohc vtec engine and the civic and if it would perform good in the car and also if it would be worth doing and info would be greatly appreciated thanks eddie

I personally would think a b18b would be a better and easier swap than a f22b motor.

The f22b has 145hp 147tq.

The b18b has 142hp and 127tq


The b18b has less tq but is a drop in swap and is cheaper to modify. You can drop a vtec head on it and make around 170-190hp with just that mod.

yo do a f23a1 swap its the 2000 accord motor and it is fast!!! i wanted to do the same swap its rare and original

thats what i thing its original and no one has it and those engines have alot of torque

found someone that did it does'nt sound to hard heres the link if anyone wants to see it has sort of step by step on what he did but instead of my civic im going to see if i can source a del sol for a good price rather do the swap in that

nice do it. the f22 is a great platform for turbo just ask yardy lol. I think he got his in the 13s with a heavy ass accord body
