so, hopefully my bitch of a car has an engine in it's future if I can find someone to do it for me that I trust. The guy I had mentioned it to before and who said he would do it.......won't do it for me anymore. I have another friend I went to church with who works on cars, maybe he will do it for me.

Also, I hope soon to fix my badly damaged paint/body. December....for the SIXTH TIME....my car was hit again....someone rear ended my mom, believed he stopped before he hit her and took off then fought the ticket and won....I tell you what.....IT IS WHITE how can people not freaking see it?!?.......:/ they aren't looking that's how...........

Sounds like it's time to just give up on that car.

I can't afford another car......no one will give me credit and I can't afford payments. If I had a choice I would ship this bitch to the junk yard and get something different. I never wanted a Honda in the first place but who can turn down a free car? (especially if your having trouble with the other cars you own at the time)

I can understand that one, maybe it's time for a second job to get the funds for something a little better or public transit until you can save enough. Though in my area we don't have public transit. Hell if we did I could use that time for catching up on reading I have to get through.

from the far side.

mass transit isn't that great in this area, during the summer when the students are gone the routes get cut down drastically which could cause some problems with me getting to work on time.

Summer is only a couple months out of the year for school, so it's not that big of a deal, just means you might have to leave earlier that's all. Shit, if I had the option to do that to go to and from school I would. I would have a good hour to just sit there and read instead of dodge the dumbasses on the roads.

yea, true but I am on the Autism spectrum and like most Autistic (even slightly Autistic) I don't like being around people for too long, I might break down into a full out meltdown before I even got to work and I have always liked better being in control of my own vehicle. I have never been on a city bus before. Also with what has happened to me in my life......I don't think I can take another incident to happen like has happened to me twice now. if you really want to know, I can send you a link to my blog, everything is there. I didn't want it to be too public though. I have made more then one person uncomfortable with what I have written and some people have jumped to conclusions because of what is there, while others didn't even reply back to me about what has happened to me in my life. I know not everyone wants to know every detail of my life (which is fine with me) but I just wanted to warn you.....pretty much all of what is on my blog is negative in one way or another. if that's not what you want to read about...fine with me. most of it is not financial related, it was my way to help me move on from some bad experiences and the nightmares that came from them.

now that I have gotten way off subject, I will draw it back towards what I was talking about, now not only do I not like being around other people too much but riding a bus I would probably be in total fear being trapped in a vehicle with all of those other people, not knowing if one of them might follow me home and "live out" some of the nightmares that I have had since about 2003.

I have a Performance Racing All Aluminum Radiator on the way to replace the stupid OEM one that has plastic reservoirs on aluminum fins so that the seam on the plastic side gives way too fast and starts cracking and leaking. http://www.ebay.com/itm/400603430987...84.m1497.l2649

Bone's method sounds rather good. You seem to be dumping money into that car a lot and it hardly runs.

well after finally winning the battle I have been having with this cooling problem, something that I have been fighting with for months, the car runs so much better then it has in 9 months. Now after extensive research, it seems my last problem should be solved when I get this O2 sensor installed that I have bought. There has been an amazing improvement just with a new performance racing radiator put into the car.

Since I have had the car for 8 years, and didn't have to pay anything for it to get it (except insurance and tag) I look at this for finally having to "pay" for the car and I am seeing major improvements in it's performance after the work I have done. Do you really think I could find another used car, that won't have any problems, for a "decent" price? Is it really worth the headache and cost to ride the city bus, which in the end you would have spent enough to buy a car or fix the car you have? It is $3 a day for an all day buss pass here. The routes are all screwed up to where it would be a 3 hour ride just to get somewhere! A friend of mine rides the bus and is usually on the bus for a 3 hour ride, I would go insane being on a bus for that long and be ready to go crazy on someone and beat the shit out of them.
