everything is made to make it bolt on to a Chevy transmission and a Chevy flywheel adaptor to work with clutch. it all depends on what funds i end up having for the project. if its high i go for it if its low i'll just stick with the vortec 4.3 it already has.

That truck looks like it's seen some better days. How many miles and what year is it?
its a 91 S10 4.3/700r4.the engine is currently in the bed. it spun a bearing and ect the whole bottom end is junk. it was swapped to a 454 Rochester carb and our uncle drove the truck around the block and forgot it has no rev limiter, that 4.3 sounded like a rotary before the nasty knocking.

Really? I check Craigslist and club rsx everyday and there's nothing. Only ones I see are the same set in west palm beach and some dude just selling one rim. Nothing at 17 x 9. I'm looking for a set between +22 - +35

tuned the car yesterday on it. it takes some experimenting with the high and low wastegate duty cycle maps so the car can hit target boost, did a couple of datalogs and everything looked good, the car drives so much better with the stage one kit, until you throw the AP on is when you really realize how shitty the stock tune is and its amazing all the things you can monitor with it.

Did you have to drive around while doing that or just sit there and rev the engine? I would think driving around would give you a better tune. how long did it take?

well, first you flash a map, start the car make sure everything works correctly, set the settings for a datalog and start logging. cobb recommends that you do some normal driving first in order for the ecu to re-learn settings and sensor parameters, after the normal driving, find a nice open road and do a full third gear pull from 2500rpm to redline and after that you can load the datalogs on to the computer and make any adjustments if needed.

The accessport can usually do just loading off the shelf maps, but I went ahead and downloaded the accesstuner race program which gives you full control of the ecu mapping. I started with an off the shelf map and made a couple of adjustments to it, as the off the shelf map is set pretty rich by cobb since its not really a custom tune to be on the safe side.

Oh the accessport has a couple other things too, you can do launch control and flat foot shifting, and it also has a virtual dyno and 0-60/1/4 mile..etc timers

It is insane how loud this intake is by the way. I had read online before about people saying how loud it was but I didn't think much of it but after I threw it on I was amazed lol I find myself going hard on the throttle a lot just for the sounds.

You won't regret it boner. I ordered mine off www.rallysportdirect.com but that was before I realized that on Nasioc there is a couple of vendors who have sold them as low as $500-$525 with overnight shipping free you just have to do some pm'ing and lowballing lol. I paid $595 plus shipping
