Default Rider down: A ride has had an accident and needs your prayers.

This is a thread for those that know a rider that has gone down and could use everyone's thoughts, prayers and well wishes.

Tonight a friend that I ride with when I get the opportunity to went down. He was riding a local road near Englewood, Florida. Down by the beach and in a turn he went down. His bike went end over end and he hit a tree. He was serious enough to need to be taken by helicopter from the scene to Blake Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Fl. His family is with him at the hospital right now but we don't know all the details about his condition. We are not even sure if he's stable at this point.

Do keep him in mind, he can use all the help he can get right now.

I got word today that he's doing a lot better than we expected. Luckily he has no broken bones.... A lot of bruising and a pretty significant concussion but other than that he's not bad. there was a couple cuts and other minor things that he got stitches for but for the most part he's doing quite well.

They had him up and walking earlier today which is pretty awesome. At the speed he crashed at he's really damn luck.

His helmet saved his life for sure.
